How the child came to Ruel: Mr S was referred by Calapan City Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) . The mother gave birth to him at a provincial Hospital and was unable to care for him.
Short Family History: Mr S is the youngest of 5 siblings. The eldest sibling is 15 years old. Two of Mr S's siblings are supported by a maternal grandmother who works as a laundress. The older siblings have been adopted within the family. There was no information about Mr S's father. No other relatives are willing to care for him.
Personality, likes, dislikes, etc.: Mr S is very active and charming little boy. He is easy to please and love. He is also very friendly and laughs easily. He loves to be in a group and likes to be cuddled always by his favourite caregiver.
Medical or physical challenges: Mr S was born with a club foot. He has undergone a number of serial castings since his birth and wore correction shoes for 1 year. His Club foot is now corrected. He is healthy and no other medical problems.
Estimated time of stay: 1 year, he is placed for adoption.
